Celebrating a Vibrant Community at the Hello Summer Community Resource Fair  Montvue Elementary in Pomona hosted the Hello Summer Community Resource Fair, a successful event celebrating the start of summer and supporting families with young children. Organized by the Early Head Start Program in collaboration with the Resource and Referral and community partners, the event featured a diverse range of activities, educational stations, and community engagement. Children at the fair enjoyed puppet shows, storytelling, and vibrant performances by Mexican Folkloric Dancers. Monica Loriso, Program Assistant for Child Development, highlighted the collaborative effort, stating, "It was heartwarming to see everyone come together," emphasizing how events like these strengthen community ties and promote family well-being. The fair underscored the importance of community gatherings in promoting child development and fostering local support networks. Special recognition and thanks go to Melissa Duardo and Vicky Vasquez for their dedicated efforts in putting this event together, and to all the agencies that provided valuable resources, such as the Community Resource Center and Baby 2 Baby.
