About Us
At Pomona Unified School District's Child Development Programs, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive Early Childhood Education Services for children aged 0-13. Our high-quality support extends to children, families, and child care providers across Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties, fostering a love for lifelong learning and encouraging family involvement.
Our services encompass a variety of educational programs, including Head Start, Preschool, and Early Head Start. We also provide student support services for children with disabilities, mental health resources, and nutrition assistance. We actively support parents by connecting them to community resources and providing tools to help their children continue learning at home.
Additionally, we offer subsidized child care, guidance for becoming a child care provider, professional development opportunities for child care providers, and a list of child care referrals to help families find the right support. Our experienced staff expertly navigates program eligibility to ensure families receive tailored assistance, including guidance and information specific to their needs.
Beyond our core Early Childhood Education Services, we pride ourselves on building strong partnerships with community organizations, establishing us as a recognized leader in the child care sector. Our offerings also include home visiting, workforce development, family engagement initiatives, and more.
