On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) hosted its 10th Annual San Bernardino Family Play Day at their San Bernardino office. The free community event brought together families for a fun-filled morning of educational activities, including a challenging obstacle course, a reptile exhibit, and hair and face painting.
Pomona Unified School District’s (PUSD) Child Development Department was also present, sharing valuable information about the resources they offer, such as child care services and various other community programs. They set up a vibrant table filled with fun, engaging activities, and children had a blast participating in them. This hands-on experience was a hit among the young attendees, who enjoyed the chance to learn and play in a welcoming environment.
Attendees had the chance to learn through play while connecting with local resources and services. Each family received a bag of fresh fruits and vegetables from the Farmer’s Market booth, and every child went home with a book, thanks to the What A Difference A BOOK Makes campaign.
The event was a great success, fostering community engagement and providing valuable resources to families. Thank you to all the vendors, volunteers, and attendees who made the day memorable.
