MAKE A CIRCLE, an award-winning movie about early childhood teachers, is coming to San Bernardino! Join us for a special screening at KVCR Studios on Thursday, September 18th at 6:15 PM.
You'll hear from former California State Senator Connie Levya, filmmaker Jen Bradwell, and local leaders in early education. This event is hosted in partnership with Child Care Resource Center and SEIU Local 99.
MAKE A CIRCLE shares real stories from teachers who care for young children. It shows how hard it is when parents can’t afford child care and teachers aren’t paid enough to stay in the job. Even with these problems, early educators keep going with love, laughter, and strength. The film shows what’s happening in classrooms, at home, and in the fight for better pay and respect.
🎓 Early education professionals — good news! Thanks to Child Care Resource Center, you can earn professional development credit for attending, through the California Early Education Workforce Registry.
