Referral Policy

The Pomona Unified School District Resource & Referral (R & R) Department provides free, confidential child care referrals to anyone upon request, regardless of income or background. We do not recommend providers—referrals are randomly selected from our database of licensed child care providers based on family needs. Parents are encouraged to visit providers and make informed choices. Referrals may be suspended if a provider is under investigation, has a revoked license, or poses a safety risk. Services are available by toll-free phone, walk-in, online, and in languages spoken in the community. We serve all families in our service area and coordinate or co-locate with CalWORKs to ensure timely access. This policy is available upon request.
