Childcare Workers | $20/hr + Benefits

Join the Fire Recovery and Resilience Workforce Program providing paid disaster relief jobs and training for wildfire-impacted workers.

Requirements:

• Eligible per program guidelines: opportunity.lacounty.gov/FireWorkforce

• CPR & First Aid Card (or attend training & test on June 8, 8 AM–3 PM at Belvedere Park)

• Experience with school-age children preferred but not required

Job Duties:

• Assist with recreation programs for disaster-impacted kids

• Ensure safety and maintain park cleanliness

• Set up event areas and perform basic clerical tasks

Available Positions:

ESTEAM Program

• $20/hour, 50 hours/week, 8-week duration

• Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 6 PM

Tiny Tots Program

• $20/hour, 12 hours/week, year-round (up to 800 hours)

• Monday to Thursday, 9 AM – 12 PM

Eligibility Requirements:

• Loss of work due to the January 2025 wildfires or unemployed for 4+ weeks

• At least 18 years old

• Able to provide identification and proof of LA County residency

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
