If you or your family need food, there are local places that may be able to help. Below are links to food banks in Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. These organizations provide free groceries, meals, and other food assistance to individuals and families. Click the links below to find a location near you and learn how to access services.

Pomona Food Pantry

Free Food Pantry – Open to the Community

 

In partnership with God’s Pantry, Community Resource Center in Pomona is providing free groceries every month — first come, first served. Everyone is welcome — no appointment needed!

When: Last Friday of each month | 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

LA County Food Help for Youth, Teens, and Seniors

LA County Parks provides free meals and nutrition programs for youth, teens, and seniors to support healthy, thriving communities. Teens (12–18) can access free hot suppers, youth 17 and under can receive healthy afternoon snacks, and seniors (60 and older) can enjoy balanced meals through senior nutrition programs. These services help promote wellness, connection, and reliable access to nutritious food across all ages.
 

Adults aged 60 and over who want additional information about resources may call CA Department of Aging 1 (800) 510-2020 for more information.

WIC Benefits for Pregnant & Postpartum Families

WIC provides:

  • Healthy food benefits

  • Nutrition education

  • Breastfeeding support

  • Referrals to health services

CalFresh (SNAP) Food Benefits / EBT Online

CalFresh helps eligible families purchase groceries using an EBT card.

Benefits may be used at:

  • Grocery stores
  • Participating farmers markets
  • Online at approved retailers

 

Families may qualify even if they are working.

Resource & Referral (R&R)
Resource & Referral (R&R) is a free program that connects families and child care providers with licensed child care information, referrals, and support services. We serve Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County.
