If you or your family need food, there are places nearby that can help. Below are links to food banks in Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. These groups give out free groceries, meals, and other support to people in need. Click the links to find a food bank close to you and learn how to get help.

Free Food Pantry – Open to the Community

In partnership with God’s Pantry, Community Resource Center in Pomona is providing free groceries every month — first come, first served. Everyone is welcome — no appointment needed!

When: Last Friday of each month | 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Food for Youth

County parks is offering free food to youth, teens, and seniors:
 

Free Meals for Seniors

Seniors over 60 may be eligible for a free meal at local senior centers: Call 1 (800) 510-2020 for more information.
 

Postpartum WIC Benefits

Those who are pregnant or postpartum may be eligible for WIC benefits. To apply, visit: www.startwic.org or text “APPLY” to 91997
 

Online CalFresh Food Benefits

CalFresh Food benefits can now be used to purchase groceries ONLINE at select retailers. To see participating stores, visit EBT Online.

Federal Shutdown

CalFresh Benefits Restored

With the conclusion of the federal government shutdown, all current CalFresh recipients should receive their full benefits through November and the coming months. They will automatically be added to your EBT card and can be used like normal.
