Celebrate National IT Professionals Day!
National IT Professionals Day is celebrated every year on the third Tuesday of September. This day is to thank and recognize the important work of IT professionals who help schools run their technology. Information Technology Services, or ITS, is the team that works hard to provide and fix computers, internet, and other technology in the school district. They help students, parents, teachers, and school leaders use technology every day.
The ITS team has many jobs. Some work on computer programs, some manage communication systems, others take care of computer networks, and some help keep data safe. They make sure computers and technology work well in classrooms and offices. There are also creative experts like web designers and graphic artists who make websites and digital content that are easy to use and fun. Their work helps students and teachers learn better with videos, pictures, and interactive tools. On National IT Professionals Day, we say thank you to these hardworking people. We also encourage students who are interested in technology to keep learning and maybe work in IT one day.
