CALIFORNIA CHILD CARE RESOURCE & REFERRAL (CCR&R) NETWORK

This is a nonprofit group that works in all 58 counties with about 60 local CCR&R agencies. Pomona Child Development, which is part of the Pomona Unified School District, is the local CCR&R agency for the Pomona area.

QUALITY START LA

Quality Start LA helps child care providers improve their programs. It offers training, tools, and resources to make early learning better across the region.

CHILD CARE INITIATIVE PROJECT (CCIP)

The Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) helps more people become licensed child care providers. It guides them through the licensing steps and offers many types of care choices for families.

TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE (TIC)

Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) gives training and tools to child care providers so they can help kids who have gone through hard times. It creates a safe and caring place for all children.

PATHWAYS (GATEWAY)

Pathways (Gateway) helps people start careers in early childhood education. It gives training, advice, and support so they can do well and help young children learn.

CA CHILD HEALTH PROGRAM

Our Health & Safety program helps keep kids safe and healthy. We provide resources, training, and advice to make sure child care places follow the rules and are good for children.
