Child Care Applications

 
Chose the subsidize child care program you are eligible for and follow the application instructions. 
 
 
CalWORKs Stage 1
 
You do not need to fill out an application if you (parent and not child) are a current CalWORKs recipient, have a child under 13 years old, and are in need of child care. You must contact your GAIN or TAD case worker and ask them to refer you to us for child care.
 
CalWORKs Stage 2 (C2AP)
 
If you (parent and not child) are a current or former CalWORKs recipient, have a child under 13 years old, are within the 85% of State Median Income, and are in need of child care, then come to our office to fill out the application below. You must bring proof that you received cash aid within the last 24 months
 
 
CalWORKs Stage 3 (C3AP)
 
Parents who were in the Stage 2 program will be automatically enrolled into the Stage 3 program. No application necessary.
 
Alternative Payment Program (CAPP)
 
This is an alternative child care program for parents who do not meet the requirements of CalWORKs stages 1, 2, or 3. Eligible participants must meet state income guidelines and engage in approved activities. Payments are made directly to childcare providers. Emergency Child Care Bridge Program for Foster Children (Bridge Program)

This program aims to improve the placement success of foster children by expanding opportunities for placement in home-based family care settings. It provides financial assistance to foster families for childcare needs. In order to apply for it, you must contact your social worker and ask for a referral to our services.
