Accessibility Statement
Our Promise to Make Things Easy to Use
Pomona Unified School District is committed to making our website easy for everyone to use. We follow important accessibility rules (Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA) to support people with different needs. We also listen to our community to keep improving the site. Here are some of the ways we help:
-
We use up-to-date coding to ensure the website works well on different browsers and devices.
-
We provide a “Skip to main content” link so people using screen readers can quickly skip the menu and get to the main part of the page.
-
We choose colors that are easy to see and read.
-
We add descriptions (called alt text) to images and design elements.
If You Have Trouble
We do our best to follow all accessibility rules, but sometimes issues happen. We are always working to fix them. If you have trouble using our website, please email us at [email protected]. We’re here to help!
Disclaimer:
We do not control the accessibility of news and flyers shared by sources outside the Child Development Department on our website.
