Community Care Licensing

The Child Care Licensing Program makes sure places where kids are cared for follow health and safety rules to keep them safe. They check these rules in Child Care Centers and Family Child Care Homes all over California. They also make sure every child and family is treated fairly and gets the same protection, no matter who they are or what they can do, as the law says.
