Welcome Adult Classes, Workshops, Courses & Cohorts

Welcome! We have many classes, workshops, courses & cohorts to help train child care providers and parents learn new skills and grow in their work with young children.

 

Here are some of the classes we offer:

  • Activity Calendar for Educators: Get fun and age-appropriate activities to help children learn all year long.

  • All Our Kin Business Series: Take workshops on things like budgeting, marketing, and running a child care business.

  • Baby Signs: Learn simple sign language to help babies and toddlers communicate better and avoid frustration.

  • Cafés for Parents & Providers: Join talks that help families and caregivers work together and support each other.

  • CPR Training: Learn how to do CPR and keep your certification up to date. This helps you know what to do in emergencies.

  • Developmental Screening Training: Licensed providers are invited to training on developmental screenings, including Ages and Stages Assessments.

  • Disaster Preparedness: Find out how to get ready for emergencies, respond safely, and help children stay safe.

  • Trauma-Informed Care: Understand how trauma affects young kids and learn ways to care for them with kindness.

Resource & Referral (R&R)
Resource & Referral (R&R) is a free program that connects families and child care providers with licensed child care information, referrals, and support services. We serve Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County.
